It Is Our Privilege And Purpose To Serve You
Dallas Lynn Dehner
January 19, 1960 - April 21, 2025

Place of Birth: Poplar, Montana
Residence: Culbertson, Montana
Age: 65

Dallas Lynn Dehner was born on January 19, 1960 to Leon and Irene (Schwarzrock) Dehner. He was the second of four crazy boys.

Dallas grew up on the family farm north of Brockton. From this upbringing he acquired his great work ethic and character working alongside his parents and brothers. He attended the country school at Mineral Bench then finished his education in Poplar graduating in 1978. Promptly after high school, he joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country for six years. He later joined the United States National Guard in 1985, after some prompting from his baby brother. Dallas served in the National Guard until 2000 when he was honorably discharged. Dallas was a true patriot and loved his country.

Dallas married his high school sweet heart, Paula Rowe, on October 10, 1981. Their first date was their senior prom, Dallas was smitten would be an understatement. Together they created a beautiful family by welcoming their boys Chad in 1984 and Shaun in 1986. Dallas was always involved in the boys’ sports and activities. He coached the baseball team, even though he knew nothing about baseball. Somehow they always managed to have a winning team! He was proud of his boys and their achievements.

Dallas loved to do anything outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing and camping. There were quite a few memorable hunting trips with his brothers; one of which he may, or may not, have been a ring leader to get his brothers to go after a bobcat, armed with sticks and pitchforks. He was the uncle that would be wrestling on the floor with his nieces and nephews or giving rides in the tractor or combine. Dallas was not ever one to shy away from fun and was always game to go pull the kids on the tubes on McIlwain Lake, hiding the eggs for the kids at Easter and teaching the kids to drive in stubble fields.

Dallas worked on the family farm, Roosevelt County and currently for Stallion. Through these endeavors he made many great friends and even more memories. Dallas had a great smile and infectious laugh and you couldn’t help but smile with him. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Dallas unexpectedly left us on April 21, 2025 at his home in Culbertson, Montana. Dallas leaves behind his wife, Paula, sons Chad and Shaun (Jenna) Dehner. Brothers, Raymond (Su) Dehner, Todd and Ward Dehner. Mother-in-Law Pat Rowe, brother-in-laws Larry and Steve Rowe, numerous nieces and nephews.

Dallas was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Irene Dehner, father-in-law Jim Rowe, sister-in-law Cheryl Dehner, nephew Hunter Dehner, and great nephew Grady Sunwall.

What a great friend Dallas was. We shot 3R archery tournaments, archery hunted elk with Dick Rumsey and Ward Dehner too. Fishing and pheasant and turkey hunting over the years as well. I think we laughed about 80% of the time! I will miss you Dallas! God’s speed my friend!
