Patrick Dean Weigel, 64, of Williston, ND passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at his home in Williston, ND.

Patrick was born May 27, 1960, to Sam and Carol Weigel in Linton, North Dakota. He was the oldest of 5 children. Shortly after graduating from High School, in the spring of 1979, he left for the oil boom in Williston, where he lived the remaining years of his life, and worked as a welder.

Welding became Pat’s passion by becoming the business owner of Pat’s Welding. Those he worked with and met as part of the business became his closest friends.

Pat is survived by one son, Drew Weigel of Stanley, ND; his parents, Sam and Carol Weigel, of Linton, ND; two brothers, Jerry (Annette) Weigel of Bismarck, ND, Robert (Karen) Weigel of Maple Grove, MN; two sisters, Michelle (Russ) Schumacher of Zeeland, MI, Kristie (Trace) Pate of Seattle, WA; 4 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends also survive.
