Sweet Grass Woman ~ Macuaca mia’sh

Lana Hazel Emma Conklin “Bubbles” was born July 18, 1979, to Edward Flys Away and Emma White Owl in Watford City, ND.

Lana was a member of the Dripping Dirt clan and a child of the Chicken Clan.

Bubbles grew up in Killdeer, ND on her Dad’s Tom Edward’s farm. She loved running around on the farm and taking care of all the farm animals. She helped with the farm work and feeding the chickens, cows, horses and garden work.

She always tried to beat her sister Missy in track and went to State that year. She loved to brag all about it. She loved nature and watching the birds. Bubbles loved riding side by sides. Her favorite thing to do was to go to pow wows and watch the fancy shawl dancers. She loved her cigs and going to family events.

She always had to have her coffee in the mornings to start her day. She also couldn’t live without her expensive seafood boils or her crossword puzzles.

She loved taking care of her kids and grandkids. She was the best at wrestling and had a heart of gold for everyone around her.

Lana is survived by her children: Isiah (Mariah) Finley, Tamira (Manny), Kaci (Conrad), Jacquelyn, Ben (Kelly) Heart, Jake Thomas.

Grandchildren: Alana Young Bear, Martin Finley, Tenaya Rush, Draco Finley, Stacey Demarce, Ava Lightall, Karsyn Lightall-Ortiz, Iris Dubois.

Bubbles I thank God I was blessed to call you my friend. We had a lot of laughs and you were always so sweet to me. I will miss you but I know you're now with the Lord and there is no more pain and suffering. RIP my friend. You will never be 4gotten.
