James (Jim) Ronald Beard Jr. 52, of Williston, ND, formerly of Toledo, WA passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 at his residence in Williston, ND.

James (Jim) Ronald Beard Jr. was born on April 19th, 1971 in Orange County, California. Jim was a veteran of Desert Storm and after being Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Army he made his home in Washington State. In 2013, Jim began working in North Dakota and later moved there full time.

Jim is survived by his father, James Ronald Beard Sr.; his mother, Terri Corbin; his son, James Ronald Beard III; his daughter, Faith Ann Robinson (Christian Donald Robinson); his sisters, Lawanda, Wendy, and Rhonda Beard; his nieces, Kiersten Covington and Kyra Covington; and his grandchildren, Everleigh Grace Beard and Kohen James Beard as well as a multitude of extended family. He was preceded in death by his first daughter, Melody Ann Beard; his sister Thelma Beard, and his uncle Robert Warren Beard.

Jim found his passion in Iron Working and building things with his hands. If you ask any of Jim’s friends or family, they would tell you that Jim was the hardest working man they knew. Jim always had a project going and was always willing to lend a hand to a friend in need. Jim was an avid outdoorsman and never missed an opportunity to hunt, fish, or spend time driving the backroads. The best times were when he was able to share these experiences with his close friends and family.

Jim is leaving behind numerous friends and family that have countless memories of their time with him. He was strong, funny, and kind. He will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure to know him.
