It Is Our Privilege And Purpose To Serve You
Russel Bradley Anderson
March 14, 1985 - July 24, 2023

Place of Birth: Sidney, MT
Residence: Sidney, Montana
Age: 38

Russel was born in Sidney, MT on March 14, 1985. He spent the first 14 years of his life in Montana, where he enjoyed swimming and endless summer days at his grandma’s house with his brother Ronnie and his uncle Rodney, and cousins DJ, Roxanne, Lacy & Racheal- they were all his first and last best friends. He moved with his family to Pueblo, CO in 1999. He was raised there until 2003 when he returned to Montana for a few years before settling down in Colorado.

He met and married Lillian Halverson and they had two children Jamey & Evan “Van” whom he adored and would do anything for. Russel moved his family to Montana in 2010. He worked at Millworks and for his uncle Terry Roth until he found his true passion working on di+-esel trucks as a diesel mechanic. He moved his family to Williston, ND to be close to his work. Russel and Lillian separated in 2022 and he moved back to Sidney MT to live with his cousin Lacy Churchill.

Russel passed away on Monday July 24 in Williston, ND.

Russel was always the life of the party. We all had many great times laughing and joking when we hung out. His sense of humor always brightened everyone’s day. He enjoyed going shooting and spending time with his kids. During football season he cheered on the Vikings and had the funniest Viking outfit he dressed up in. We loved it.

He will forever be remembered by his brother Ronnie, Richard, Cheldon and Quentin and sisters Felicia, Sage, Reese and Michaela as big brother. Russel loved his family and would do anything for us. His humor and love and hugs will be missed immensely. A piece of our hearts is missing; Until we see you again my son.

John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.”

Russel is survived by his children, Jamey & Van Anderson; mother Shawn and Dad Carlos Sandoval; father Brad Anderson; brother Ronnie Anderson; grandparents Gene & Ilene Roth; uncles Rodney, Terry (Carrie), Justin and Shane Roth; and his cousins who he loved dearly: DJ (Sarah) Roth, Lacy Churchill, Roxanne Roth, Racheal Lutz, Josh (Ann) Thiel, Darren Roth, and Natalie (Ish) Kwosie; and many other family members too numerous to mention.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Hank & Shirley Anderson; infant son Ethen Anderson, and cousins Michael and Chris Roth.

Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.

Russel always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. He was the classic class clown at every party. I remember Jeremy and I years ago got into a huge fight, I went over to Rodney’s house and there was Russel, he handed me a beer and proceeded to tell me tears were not allowed here and told me jokes until I was laughing and tears had dried up. When Jeremy and I started a family, our party days slowed down and I only saw Russel a handful of times. When we did see each other we would catch up and talk about life. This last time I saw him he was excited about how things were finally looking up and he was so excited. This was earlier this month. My condolences and prayers go to all of you. He was definitely a huge personality that made a lot of impact on a lot of lives and he will truly by missed. I have a lot of photos from back in the day that I will be going through and getting to you all.
