Bill and I played in the band together at SSHS, he was a year older and great guy, mentor and bass player. I saw the image on my calendar a couple weeks ago and had thought of Bill instantly, lots of memories flooded in. Bill had smoked me in very tuba duel. Rest in peace, Bill.

I was very sad to read about Bill's death. We were not only neighbors but friends.
May God hold you all in the palm of his hand during this trying time.

Bill was my cousin. We came from a very large Montana family who homesteaded in the far northeastern part of the state. We are two of 34 cousins from this Miller family. Because our mothers were the only two girls of 11 children, they were close. So, growing up, Bill and his sibs and me and my sibs saw each other frequently. I will truly miss keeping up with his life but, I am happy that Facebook is keeping me up with the lives of his two precious grandsons. Be at peace, Bill.
