To Laurlynn’s family -
My deepest sympathy to all of you. Laurlynn was a good friend and also a member beside me in several veterans’ auxiliary organizations here in Williston. We spent a lot of time together in the DAV Auxiliary and had many good times. One thing we usually did before meetings was share a potluck dinner with the DAV members prior to our meetings. Though we usually had no idea what anyone would bring, we did depend on Laurlynn bringing her big yellow Pyrex bowl filled with her macaroni, tomato, and kidney bean hot dish. What a relief when sometimes we would end up with lots of chicken or mostly desserts! Since today is such a today to remember in our nation’s history, I choose to remember my friend who was the wife of a former Navy Seal and disabled veteran, a lady who helped care for him and other veterans, and a woman who loved her country and her God. Rest in peace, dear Laurlynn. I shall miss you - Laurie Evans

My cousin my forever friend. Such great family memories of fun times. Naches as kids, Yakima as teenagers. Trips between Naches/Yakima from my Oregon home always meant adventure. We were dedicated letter writers as we grew up. Our adult lives separated us in miles and frequency of visits, but we never lost touch. I’ll miss her!!

Oh Laurlynn, you were the sweetest! I grew up at your home! My sweet child hood friends Sabrina and Derek I am so so sorry for the loss of your momma! I have probably the best memories of your mom, she always welcomed me with open arms her and Court! I absolutely loved spending sometimes countless days at a time at the ranch house. I feel so blessed to be able to have known you sweet lady! Rest easy, you are with our Lord now, and now you can spend all the time with Court!
