Sorry to hear of the loss of Franklin, he was always a story teller. A farmer for sure, taking care of his land, family and machinery. He will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in the peace our Lord has promised us, until we are all together again. Greg

Rosemary and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Franklin always knew us whenever we happen to see him and was always so friendly. He is now with Jesus sharing in the promises he gave where there is no more pain, sadness nor worry, only the joyfulness of being with the Heavenly Father with eternal love and peace.

Franklin and Rosemary were the best godparents a girl could've ever hoped for. I'm so thankful for all the love they bestowed to me. I'm praying for the Martens family and all who loved Franklin, that you'll feel the power and presence of Jesus during this difficult time.

Franklin and Rosemary
I'm so sorry to learn of Franklin's death. My mom, Norma Nissen Lent, and Rosemary were classmates. I got to meet her and Franklin in 2017 at the Drake All-School Reunion and visited them last year at their home. They were such gracious hosts and so friendly. Franklin told me a very interesting story about his father or grandfather who had taught a bird to speak German. Rosemary showed me her photo albums with pictures of my mom as a teenager. I had been planning to make another trip this year. I'm sorry I won't be able to see Franklin again, but I was sure glad to have seen him twice, and I would love to see Rosemary again. They made a lovely couple. They told me stories of how they met and married and started their farm. I think it's lovely they were able to spend all those years together there. They really loved living on the farm. My sincere condolences to Rosemary and the whole family.
